How is everyone’s day looking so far?
My morning began with a bit of worry — our dog seemed unusually low‑spirited.
We had such a fun weekend outing together that maybe he feels lonely now that we’re heading back to work.
He’s eating well, but he still seems a little down.
I’ll do my best to finish work on time and come home early.

突然ですが、みなさん、犬のご飯皿がぬるぬるで困ったことはありませんか？
私はあります。と言うか初めは、このぬるぬるはなんなの？ヨダレなの？何故とれないの？と、ハテナがいっぱいでした。
調べたところ、あれは犬の唾液から作られるバクテリアの層だそうです。それが犬の体に入るのはよくないとのこと…バイ菌のかたまりかと思うと、少しぞわっとします。
そして、探して買ったこの商品！これ、最高なんです…っ！
ヌルヌルも取れてお皿を清潔に保ててとても安心。お気に入りで、よく買っています。お湯をかけながらの洗いだとより落ちる気がします。
みなさんはどんな対策をされてますか？よかったら教えてください。
This might sound sudden, but have you ever struggled with your dog’s food bowl getting slimy?
I definitely have. At first I kept wondering, What is this slime? Is it drool? Why won’t it come off?
After looking into it, I learned that it’s actually a layer of bacteria formed from a dog’s saliva.
And apparently, it’s not good for dogs to ingest that… Thinking of it as a clump of germs honestly gives me a bit of a shiver.
So I searched around and bought this product! And it is amazing…!
It removes the sliminess completely and keeps the bowl nice and clean, which gives me so much peace of mind. I love it so much that I keep repurchasing it.
It seems to work even better when washing with hot water.
What kind of methods do you all use? I’d love to hear your tips.
🍽️ご飯皿と台- Food Bowl and Stand🍚
ご飯皿とご飯皿を乗せる台には、NITORI商品を愛用しています。
陶器のお皿はずっしりと重さがあり、底には滑り止めがはられています。
ご飯皿を乗せる台も、表面に滑り止め加工がなされており、とても良い。
台は折り畳むことが出来るため、朝晩の食事以外は収納することも可能です。
柴犬などの中型犬におすすめの高さ・サイズかと思います。
For our dog’s food bowl and the stand that holds it, I use products from NITORI.
The ceramic bowl has a nice weight to it, and there’s a non‑slip layer on the bottom.
The stand also has a non‑slip surface, which works wonderfully.
Since the stand can be folded, I can store it away when it’s not mealtime in the morning or evening.
I think the height and size are perfect for medium‑sized dogs like Shiba Inus.

🫗飲み水-Drinking Water 💧
水はこちらの商品を使っています。
犬にはミネラルが多いとよくないそうなので、軟水フィルターをつけています。
朝晩と1日2回水を変え、月に一度はフィルター交換も。
犬は水をよく飲むようになり、腎臓病対策も出来てとても安心です。
For my dog’s drinking water, I use this product.
Since high mineral content isn’t good for dogs, I use a soft‑water filter with it.
I change the water twice a day — morning and evening — and replace the filter once a month.
Ever since we started using it, my dog has been drinking more water, which helps with kidney‑health prevention, and it gives me real peace of mind.

それからハーネス&リードは、SUZUKOUBOUさんとJuliusK9さんのものを使っています。
肩から下げるリードは、両手が空き、とても便利です。ダブルハーネスで、脱走防止にも安心。
伸びるリードは、犬が自由に動けて良い反面、急に来た自転車や他の犬などにぶつかった時のことを考えると…少し怖いので、しっかりした布地のものを使っています。
ハーネスは、柄もたくさん選べるし、名前が載せられるのも推しポイントです。
For my dog’s harness and leash, I use ones from “SUZUKOUBOU” and “Julius K9”.
The shoulder‑strap leash is incredibly convenient because it keeps both of my hands free.
With a double‑harness setup, I also feel much safer knowing it helps prevent escapes.
Retractable leashes do give dogs more freedom, but thinking about sudden bicycles or other dogs coming out of nowhere… it makes me a bit nervous.
So I prefer using a sturdy fabric leash instead.
Another thing I love is that the harnesses come in many patterns, and you can even add your dog’s name — definitely a big plus.
🛒カート-For Getting Around🚗
最後に移動ですが、私はこのカートがお気に入りです。
片手操作で一気に折りたたむことが出来、開けるときも同様に簡単です。
カゴも取り外し可能で、カバーも洗うことが出来、清潔に保てます。カゴをつけるのは少しコツがいりますが、はめてたたんで、またオープンすれば上手くはまります。
タイヤにはスプリングがあり、段差も苦なく動く印象です。
約8kgとそんなに重くもなく、持ち運びにも苦慮しません。その割に耐荷重25kgと結構丈夫。お気に入りです。
それに値段も4万円ほどとお手頃！気軽なお出掛けに使うようであれば、ぜひ推したい商品です！
Lastly, for transportation, this cart is my favorite.
You can fold it up in one quick motion with just one hand, and opening it is just as easy.
The basket can be removed, and the cover is washable, so it’s easy to keep everything clean.
Attaching the basket takes a bit of practice, but once you clip it in, fold it, and open it again, it fits perfectly.
The wheels have springs, so it handles bumps and uneven surfaces smoothly.
At around 8 kg, it’s not too heavy, so carrying it around isn’t a struggle.
Despite that, it can hold up to 25 kg, which makes it surprisingly sturdy. I really love it.
And the price is about 40,000 yen — quite reasonable.
If you’re looking for something for casual outings, I’d definitely recommend this cart!
