Winter is my favorite season of the year.
I love the crisp air and the clear, sharp sky.
That said, this cold really does sink into the bones.
With a cup of coffee in hand, I take a little breath.

さて、今日は趣味の話です。
Now then, today I’d like to talk about one of my hobbies.
ペーパーシアターという商品をご存じでしょうか？
レーザーで精密にカットされた紙や木を重ね合わせ、映画・アニメの感動的な名シーンを立体的に作り上げるペーパークラフトキットのことです。
Have you ever heard of something called a “Paper Theater”?
It’s a papercraft kit where you layer laser‑cut pieces of paper or wood to recreate iconic, emotional scenes from movies and anime in a three‑dimensional form.
私はこれが大好きでして、今まで10個ほど作ってきました。
ジブリやポケモン、鬼滅の刃や呪術廻戦など、日本のアニメが多いように思います。
特に好きなのはムーミン！柔らかい色使いのペーパークラフトが、ムーミンの世界観をよく表してると思います。
I absolutely love these, and I’ve made about ten so far.
Most of the ones I’ve built are from Japanese anime—Studio Ghibli, Pokémon, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, and so on.
My favorite of all is Moomin. The soft, gentle colors of the papercraft capture the Moomin world perfectly.
形は、紙を組み立てる基本的なものから、木を使うもの、付属のアクリルケースに納めるもの、丸いプラスチックボールに納めるもの等とバリエーション豊かです。
The designs come in many variations—from simple paper‑only builds to ones that use wood,
to versions that fit into an acrylic display case, and even some that are enclosed inside a round plastic sphere.
物を飾るとなると、積もるホコリが気になるんですが、紙をたててるだけなのであまり気になりません！そこも気に入っています。
部屋の雰囲気に合わせ、似合うものを作ってもいいかもしれません。
When it comes to displaying things, I usually worry about dust piling up.
But since these are just standing layers of paper, it doesn’t bother me much at all—and that’s another thing I like about them.
It might be fun to choose pieces that match the atmosphere of your room.
必要なのは、カッターとノリとピンセットのみ。
プラモデル用ピンセットだと先が細いので、使い勝手がとてもいいと感じます。
All you need are a craft knife, glue, and tweezers.
Tweezers made for plastic models have very fine tips, so I find them especially easy to use.
何かに没頭するのが好きな方、
細かい作業が好きな方、
映画やアニメのワンシーンを部屋に飾りたい方、
小さな達成感を味わいたい方、
そんな方々におすすめしたいと思います。
